Vinattieri Wine Dinner

They say Singapore is the Switzerland of Asia - so we’re bringing you some bottled Swissness.

We cordially invite you to our next wine dinner on 9 November, where we’ll have the pleasure of serving you an exclusive selection of Vinattieri wines from Ticino, the sunny southern part of Switzerland.

This will mark the official launch of Vinattieri wines in Singapore, and we are delighted that Mr. Ramesh Oertli, Vinattieri's Brand Ambassador, will be joining us for the occasion.

The evening will be hosted in partnership with Vinattieri, Swiss World Cargo, and Wine Circle. Together, we look forward to curating a memorable dining and wining experience for all our guests.

VINATTIERI WINERY

Vinattieri was founded in 1985 by Luigi Zanini in the town of Ligornetto, a region traditionally associated with the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. Together with his son Luigi Jr. and using state-of-the-art technology, Luigi Zanini has always aimed to produce the best possible wine, taking the great Merlot wines of the best châteaux of Bordeaux as his model and reference point.

The Zanini family has always run the company with the utmost care, solid know-how and passion until 2020, and from January 2021 has handed over the reins of the company into the trusted hands of Michele Conceprio.

Ligornetto, south of the Alps, benefits from a Mediterranean climate that favours viticulture. The Merlot vine, which grows on the chalky soil, expresses itself perfectly in Vinattieri's wines. The philosophy of the company has always been to cultivate its own grapes, which today grow on an area of 100 hectares.

The main varieties cultivated are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon among the red grapes, while the white grapes are based on Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Thanks to targeted work on the vine, manual harvesting, extreme care in vinification and the use of barriques, Vinattieri has gathered a great deal of experience over the years, creating a name for itself in the production of top-quality wines.

The wines, namely Vinattieri Bianco, Roncaia and Ligornetto, embody the line followed by the winery and since 1985 are the unmistakable testimony of a company in continuous evolution. Vinattieri Rosso, the company's flagship wine, certainly does not fear comparison with the best Bordeaux-style wines in the world.
